Thank you for visiting J Travis Snyder Guitars. I am a one person operation based in Eastern North Carolina. I specialize in traditional and double top concert classical guitars, but I also build flamenco guitars, steel string acoustics, and electrics from time to time. You can view examples of my instruments in the gallery section. Like all makers, I am on a constant quest to make a better guitar. I have come to use certain designs that I feel yield the power, balance, and tonal palette necessary for a successful instrument. However, I am not one to sit idle so I regularly revisit my approach as tone is paramount!

I have reworked the site for 2011 to be more easily navigated, and to better showcase the instruments. I trust that the site will answer most of your questions, but feel free to contact me with any additional questions or comments.
